My full name is Christoph Kurt Gustav
Tiedtke. I am 35 years old, have a MSc in Civil Engineering and I am working in Kalmar, Sweden, where I also have my family. |
| Characteristics/Interests | I am very interested in technology and problem solving. I have a curious nature and I always like to learn new things that make me improve my skills. -Life long learning you know. :-) I have a special interest in programming where I for 4 1/2 years
have been using Microsoft Visual Basic with Access and SQL. I have also
used Pascal (TurboPascal) and AutoLisp (AutoCAD) to make special applications
to improve my work. |
| Present work | My present work is developing educational solutions within the
multimedia system Comenius. The Work includes everything
from planning and supervising to producing manuscript and media like sound,
pictures, animations, video and text. It also includes design, programming
and documentation for QA. Further more, I develop special applications like demos and webpages. I have for example developed the whole concept of knowledge test and certification for Comenius PC-körkort (similar (but better) to the ECDL, European Computer Driving License). One other example is a CD-ROM of golf lessons with Simon Holmes, one of the top golf coaches in the world. (http://www.comenius.se/golfers) |
| Former work | Earlier, I have been working with computer hardware and software
education, both as project manager and as tutor. My interest in working with computers started with my work as a Constructional Engineer within Jacobson&Widmark AB, a firm of building consultants. There, I used computers for CAD, CAE and documentation.

and comes from the former country, Ostpreussen. Genealogy shows that the
first Tiedtke mentioned in the 18th century national registration was the
carpenter Michael Tiedtke who lived and worked in what today is the border
