Where am I? Welcome to the homepage of scouting in the middle part of Sweden, or to be more correct, scouting in the two provinces of Jämtland and Härjedalen (Sweden is that country up north, I hope you knew it! =). Scouting in these two provinces activates almost 500 scouts and scoutleaders, a number that we hope will become bigger in the future! In Sweden we have 5 scouting federations, and the one we are a member of is called the Swedish Scout and Guide Association (SSF). If you are member of SSF, then Sweden is divided into several scouting districts, and our district is called just Jämtland-Härjedalens scoutdistrict. What´s it like? In Sweden boys and girls are mixed, all are called scouts, and are devided into these agegroups:
