Unlike Hero

a strange twist as the main actress was diagnosed with cancer, telling her charismatic co-star in a frenzy of tears, that their difficult, long standing relationship would end in her death. Mieko felt her throat close, she swallowed not allowing herself to cry as it was a sure thing to drive any boy away, an over-sensitive girl that just sheds tears all the time.
Holding back she turned to look at Michael, but in her amazement, a trickle of tear rolled out of his eye, slowly down his cheek, reaching the bottom of his chin, dangling helplessly on it´s own. Mieko raised her hand, caught the singular tear in her palm, she reached over, gave him a kiss on the cheek and took hold of his hand, she suddenly found a sense of contentment as they sat there together sharing in this moment of sorrow.
