It was Chris mumbling something again before mentioning that he was coming over to visit, Michael replaced the receiver and convinced himself that it was far too late to build up confidence again, the moment was lost. It was a short time afterwards when he heard the door bell ring and the ominous voice of his friend bellowing from downstairs.
