News February.

Ok, now the team is complete. [EC] Lakris will tune in as modemplayer in the match on Tuesday. I thought we could decide which map to choose on our Saturday/Sunday-training so everyone´s well prepared.

Exelcior is now ranked 19 at 12:th place on Flagzone. I wonder where we´ll be in a few weeks :-)

We should have a clantraining this weekend, on Sunday for example (such a boring day anyway) at 20:00 on our clanserver. I´ll probably be there on Saturday aswell around 15:00, when the hangover from Friday night has eased up a bit :-).

We need one more player to complete the team in the rematch against [NEC]. Players so far are [EC] Smasher along with me and [EC] Pain.

I´m working on a new clanpage with some Javacrap in it. Would be thankful for any suggestions or help with graphix etc.

I´ve sent out a mail about the rematch against [NEC]. The match is on Tuesday March 3rd at about 20:00 (CTF HPW) and I hope we can get 4 to come.

Last night´s game turned into a clan trainingsession since our opponents didn´t show up :-( It´s kind of annoying not to cancel when everything´s set.

Next fight will hopefully not end up like this. I´ll send out a mail about it soon.

This is the last update before the match (operation Gargamel) against [TSA]. [EC] Smasher and [EC] Lord_Mephisto will also participate if our opponents can get 5 players to come. If not, Lord_Mephisto will spectate. He is now reachable on ICQ, add him to your list on UIN 8487392.

We have a new member, Lord_Mephisto. He still needs to perfectualize his skills but he has the potential of a great player. I will put him on defensedetail for now.

We´re going to fight [TSA] on Saturday 22:00 and hopefully win once and for all. Noble knights from us are me, [EC] Maria and [EC] Lakris. I´ll send out matchtactics tomorrow.

I´m going to arrange a tryout for new members soon, been in contact with three so far.

I´m receiving a lot of challenges. [LARF] is a young clan just like us but contains only of LPB:s though. Sure we can accept their challenge but we´ll probably suffer a painful defeat and I don´t want to many of those. We must think this over.

Due to the amount of clans who wants to fight us, the best thing to do is maybe limiting the challenges so that we only have one or two every week. This is of course dependent on a lot of things, but from now on I will plan our fights better. For instance, if we get a challenge then the battle will be held at least a week later, in that way we are all a little bit better prepared. If someone can´t participate, then I must know about it at least two days before matchday.

Yesterdays match is registered at Flagzone. Received a challenge from [TFF], The Frog Force today. They want to mix the teams so that both LPB:s and HPW:s can participate. Since we only have [EC] Lakris, it will be up to him. If he can´t make it to the game It´ll be HPW:s only.

I´m planning to divide the clan into two sections after we get a few more members. Whoever wants to be in a clanfight is welcome but as long as both categories are represented in equal amounts from both clans. After all it has to be as fair as possible.

Been in contact with The Lady from [SQ], Starquakers and we planned to have a little duel on Thursday.

The match tomorrow against [NEC] will be held on NEC Showdown at 19.30. It´ll be 3vs3 and players so far from Exelcior are me and Maria. I expect Bobafetts or Smashers presence but they haven´t answered me yet.

I´ve realized that we are some members short, we need at least 2-3 more. If anyone runs into an extremely good player, please try to get his/her UIN or e-mail so I can establish contact.

Our very eminent member Lakris has set up a server. It´ll be up and running very sporadic but still - it´s a clanserver :-) dedicated for training and perhaps our webpage. We thank you Lakris for your efforts.

About the match held this evening: First of all I´d like to mention the activity on the server, people coming in and out like it had to-way-doors. Exelcior won the first half and [TSA] the second but still I´d like to consider this match as training (a good one though, because [TSA] were better than I expected). I´ve been in contact with them and they accepted a new match but this time at a more quiet server, hopefully at Quake on time. A great hug to Smasher who joined the game with such splendid timing.

Received an Yes to my challenge of [NEC], clan Necronomicon. The match is on Tuesday 10th 19.30, [NEC] will provide a server. We´re one man short to play 3vs3 and if that´s the situation on Tuesday, I´ll try to reschedule. The match this Saturday however against [TSA] will probably be held at 21.00 on Anka Match.

Forthcoming events: I´ve been in contact with several clans since January, [DY], [SQ], [TQQ] and [US] amongst others. So I hope you´re up to a lot of fragging.

Exelcior is registered in the Fragzone clandatabase, that´ll hopefully bring us a lot of challenges. Got an e-mail from Gammelsmurfen in [TSA], accepting a duel any day now. I´m just gonna arrange a server for fragging without any uninvited idiots. However, the problem is which players I´m going to select for our first match. Since the training two days ago went so well, those players are most certainly in. Therefor the game´ll be 3vs3 and the rest will have to be a bit patient until next match. It wont be long I promise :-)
