This was a pretty interesting year since I turned 15. I was an adult! Cinema wise that is. However, the first 5 movies was seen before the magic birthday and the most interesting of them was "Dead and buried". Not because of the movie itself but because it was the only movie ever shown in Sweden that had a warning label attached to it. That I know of anyway. This was strange considering the hard censorship rules we had in this country back then. Lots of movies were banned, even more movies were cut, but for some reason they left this movie uncut but with a warning to it. And it WAS pretty brutal. One scene stuck in my memory forever is the "eye piercing scene". Years later I saw the movie on video and it was still pretty sick. |
