1998 will definately be the "most" cinema year in 90's, although I wish I had time to go more often. And although the year isn't over I can say that this years movie worth mentioning is "Titanic". Actually, it's the only movie ever I've seen twice in the cinema - not counting "Star Wars" and "The empire strikes back" since they were special editions of the original ones.

Titanic - As good as it gets - Titanic - US Marshals - Deep impact - Scream 2 - Armageddon - Saving private Ryan - In & out - The X-files - Ögat - Godzilla -

Comments: From the mask of Zorro to the mask of Michael Myers. Am I the only one who wanted to see what this almost immortal madman really LOOKED like? That was one of my big disappointments about this movie, that Jamie Lee Curtis didn't unmasked her crazy brother at the end. Even SHE didn't know what her own brother looked like. Oh, well. Who cares anyway. So what about the movie then....Well, it was by far the best of all the Halloween sequels that has been made and it felt a little strange that sequels 4-6 was completely overlooked in this movie. This was a sequel to the second Halloween, the third one "Season of the witch" didn't have anything to do with the Michael Myers saga and the ones after that are best left forgotten. So maybe it is understandable after all. The movie itself follows the traditional horror formula and I was a little disappointed by that. Where has Michael Myers been hiding for 20 years? In some cabin somewhere "biding his time", like he did for 15 years at the insane asylum? Has he been wearing the same overall and the same mask all that time? I just feel that there were something missing all the time and that the movie could have been made a lot more interesting. It's not often you think that a movie is too short these days, but this one was. The characters could have been presented a lot more and a lot better, instead they just stuck to the horror formula and had Mr. Myers just "coming back". I wanted more than that.
