Arabian stallion bred by Sheik Mirza of Anazeh Keheilan from Nejd.

Thomas Darley, the British consul in Aleppo, Syria buys Ras el Fedowi (The Headstrong One) for Richard Darley.

Ras el Fedowi, now The Darley Arabian arrives 1704 to Aldby Park, Buttercrambe, Yorkshire, England. Here he was most of the time exclusively used for covering his owner's mares from 1706 until at least 1719.

The Darley Arabian was a white-faced horse, coloured brown, with three white legs and 1,52 m (15 hands) high.
