Water
is the source of all life on earth. The amount of water there is on earth today is the same amount as always. It's the same water we drink today as the dinosaurs ware drinking millions of years ago. There is no new water created, but there is no water disappearing either. In our part of the world we are spoiled with a good supply of clean and fresh water In other parts of the world the supply of water is not that good. Water is necessary to survive. A human could stay alive for several days or weeks without food to eat but without water she would die in just a day or two. The human body looses somewhere between 2,5 and 3,5 litre of water throughout the twenty-four hours. The water disappears through the skin, exhalation and urine. A grown up human need to compensate the loss by intake of at least three litres of water in some form every day. |
