My name is Johan Kallblad, and I am a 27-year old IT-professional from Sweden.
I hold a masters degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linkoping Institute of Technology, Sweden.
After finishing my masters thesis 2˝ years ago I have worked - and had a good time - at the swedish / american software vendor IMI Industri-Matematik (Nasdac: IMIC, www.industrimatematik.com). IMI develops and markets an oracle-based c/s-application (unix and NT platforms) for Supply Chain Management called System ESS.
My duties have varied from development, design, and testing of our application, to working as project leader for development projects during the last year.
My belief is that I have been succesful at work because of an ability to deliver according to promise, good work ethics, and an ability to motivate and inspire my co-workers.
I'm looking for a position in the IT-business, hopefully with close customer contacts, preferably with international focus - I have experience from university studies in the US, and I speak and write english fluently. Even though a broad competence and area of interest might be my biggest asset, I don't mind digging deep into technical problems when needed
Most important for me is that my work is stimulating and challanging. I enjoy working in projects, and I appreciate team work.
Since 1997 I'm married to Linda (occupational therapist) - in March 1999 we got a new family member when our son Gustav was born. We are currently living in Goteborg, Sweden, but we are concidering moving abroad.
Besides taking time for my family I enjoy music, computers, and sports on my spare time.
