Lake Mälaren

The selected radiographs of sediment cores from Lake Mälaren are few and exemplify modern sedimentary structures in the deposits of four basins (Lilla Ullfjärden, Stora Ullfjärden, Sigtunafjärden, and Ekoln, also called lakes) in the northeastern part of Lake Mälaren, shown on the map below.

Lake Mälaren, the third biggest lake in Sweden.
