Poems 4 Y!
Treasure found
All of a sudden
on your lonely road
through emptiness
you might stumble
over a treasure -
another personīs friendship
and warmth

The Switchback
This morning I woke up in a mood so sad,
because I knew for school I would be late
Then after getting up I became extremely glad,
because my brother said, "Hey mate,
today we have a holiday!"
Unbelievable how oneīs mood in a moment can sway!

Poems by Peter Dreamer
(Peter wrote these poems, when he was 8 years old)
I wish
I wish I was a rose so big and bright
I wish I was a snowflake floating down
I wish I had a friend
I wish I was the sun going down
I wish I sat on a cloud
Snow
Snow is cold and look like pillows
snow is floating
like feathers
Light as down
Adventure
Adventure is a fishing trip
It tastes like pine needle tree
It sounds like birds whistling
It smells like camp fire
It looks like a packed car
Adventure feels like you are free from school

Two children
Two children playing in the sun
Two looks that in love did meet
Two children so innocent and pure
that were playing together, so sweet
But the sun could be hurting
said the people that watched them play
and so they separated the children
without asking what they had to say
Now the sun is still shining
and the grass is still green
But eyes that are hating and killing
are very unpleasant, mean
